Tell us about the birthday invitations.
I saw an idea for using seashells as party invitations and thought it would fit perfectly with the mermaid theme. We found some nice, big shells at Wal-mart of all places. I used a permanent marker to pen the invitation details. It was simple and fun and the kids LOVED receiving their shell invites. It was a great way to get the mermaid hype going before the party even started!
Tips and Tricks
- Find a shell large enough to write invitation details on the back.
- Look for a light colored shell (so your writing is easily visible).
- Use a permanent marker for writing the party details.
- Search craft stores, Wal-Mart, or online for the perfect shells.
