Invite kids to your pirate party with these treasure map invitations.

To create pirate's map invitations using your home computer, all you need is some pirate clipart and paper that suits your printer. For the invitations pictured here, I used plain, white printing paper, but you can choose decorative paper if you like. Aged-style paper is a good choice, but since I didn't have any on hand, I simply crumpled up my invitation a few times and tore off the edges to make it look worn. Then I rolled the map into a scroll to make the ends curl.

Insert the clipart images where you would like them to show on your map. Type in your text and print. Then draw the dotted lines by hand. I added coin stickers to the map, but if you don't have those and want to replicate this design, tape pennies to the page.

Of course, you don't need to use a computer at all; pirate stickers or even your own drawings would work just as well as clipart.
