What setting does more to spark a child's imagination than an enchanted forest? Kate Landers Events LLC, of Boston, brought to life that whimsical world to celebrate a 4-year-old girl's birthday.
The fairy party's color scheme combined brown, white, cream, green, red and pink.
The invitations were designed by Paper & Pigtails and included images of mushrooms, trees and butterflies.
A company called Henry & Grace Designs made custom fairy garlands, frocks, wings and wands for the guests to use during the party and take home as favors. The items were scattered about Elle's woodsy backyard before the party began, and each girl had to search for the ones labeled with her name on the tags.
Food was displayed on a moss-covered table decorated with wooden letters that spelled out "Elle." Tall bunches of grass, butterflies and mushrooms also were used to set the scene.
