I love reading classic kids' stories to my children, so for my youngest daughter's second birthday we built the details of her party around a Little Red Riding Hood theme.
My daughters and I built a small forest of trees in our foyer, which served as the guests' first introduction to the theme of the party.
The color scheme was red (of course) and brown, with some woodsy details. To be consistent with that, we made chocolate-dipped pretzel rods and covered them in red sprinkles and used a piece of brown burlap for the tablecloth.
We served two cakes: one with Little Red on top and the other with the wolf and we played a game of Pin the Tail on the Wolf using a painting my older daughter and I made together. Click through the photo gallery for more details from the Little Red Riding Hood party.
