- Toilet paper tubes.
- Tissue paper or wrapping paper in red, white and blue colors.
- Cardboard, cut into narrow rectangles.
- Curling ribbon.
- Tape.
- Wrap the toilet paper tubes and cardboard rectangles with the tissue paper.
- Fold the rectangles in half, forming a point at the top, and insert into the tubes, with the pointed end sticking out of the top.
- Tape the top ends of several lengths of ribbon into the bottom ends of the tubes, so the remaining ribbon dangles out of them.
- Loop a ribbon for hanging the firework decoration through the pointed end on top.
