Is it just me, or have kid-friendly ideas for Thanksgiving absolutely exploded this year? I can't help but share more inspiration for Turkey Day. Take a look:
- If you click on no other link, you have to check out what Sara and Brittany from One Charming Party created with a paper grocery sack and a bag of popcorn. Darling. Hilarious. Can't wait to try it myself.
- I discovered that link over at The Crafty Crow, which posted a great roundup of Thanksgiving treats, including apple cider cups from Gimme Some Oven and a loaf of turkey bread from Almost Unschoolers.
- How cute are these Mini pies featured at Icing Designs? Are my kids the only ones who like everything miniature? I didn't think so.
- And take a look at these paper pilgrim hats and bonnets from Martha Stewart. That's another project on our T-day to-do list here at home.
I'm always trying to think of how I can apply an idea that I see to the next holiday or birthday theme, so how about a tree-shaped loaf of bread for Christmas? ... or a popcorn-filled heart for Valentine's Day? ... or mini cherry pies for a July birthday party? ... or ... your turn!
P.S. Can't get enough Thanksgiving? Here's my recent roundup of Thanksgiving tabletop ideas, my article on how to host a kid-friendly Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving games you can play at the dinner table with kids.
